My 8ft 3wt parabolic action has a Ritz fario grip and staggered ferrule.
This parabolic action rod has a very smooth casting action. You can use very fine diameter tippets to catch very large trout.
The full flex rod acts as a very long shock absorber. Personal best on this rod was a 4.6LBS wild brown on 1.7 tippet
